Thornsett Group

Place to put down roots

The Jewish Chronicle , 1st July 2011

Thornsett Group has launched Wheston Lodge, on Holden Avenue in Woodside Park, north London. The development consists of 25 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments including duplexes and penthouses.
Wheston Lodge is the first property to be built in the former grounds of Marian House, a missionary church and provides five floors of accommodation in a red-brick rendered building. There are 22 off-street parking spaces, within gated landscaped surroundings.
Holden Avenue itself is an established residential street, lined with mature trees such as birch, lime, sycamore and ash, many of which are within the development site and have been retained by Thornsett Group.
Apartment prices at Wheston Lodge start from £275,000 for a one-bedroom unit. The apartments have attractive fitted kitchens with Lechner worktops and quartz stone in the penthouses; built-in stainless steel appliances (Bosch in apartments and Siemens in penthouses) – electric oven, microwave and cooker hood (extractor) with electric hob – as well as engineered oak floorboards.
Bathrooms will have chrome fixtures throughout, sanitaryware from Bathstore and walk-in showers with sliding doors.
Wheston Lodge has attracted interest from a wide range of potential purchasers, including young professional first-time buyers; empty nesters who are looking to downsize from properties within the surrounding area and investors who are keen to find a property close to Woodside Park underground station.
Selling agents for Wheston Lodge are Becketts Estate Agent and Jeremy Leaf & Co.
