
Lee Valley Technopark
The Lee Valley Technopark consists of a purpose built modern building comprising of 98,000 sq. ft. gross floor area, divided into 3 sections:
- Block 1 – large units, varying in size from 5,000 sq. ft. to 15,000 sq. ft.
- Block 2 – medium sized units, varying in size from 1,000 sq. ft. to 2,500 sq. ft.
- Block 3 – Innovation Centre, consisting of units ranging in size from 200 sq. ft. to 850 sq. ft. and also including a general reception, post room, conference facilities, canteen and a crèche.
The construction is a steel frame building on concrete pad foundations with an external curtain wall and glazing system. The entire building has been fitted out internally to a very high standard including acoustic tiled ceilings, carpeting, and a raised floor throughout to cater for all modern IT and video cabling. The building is fully accessible by wheelchair.
The building is a focal point for the Lee Valley Regeneration area and is proving to be a great asset to the new technology businesses, both start-up and existing, in the North London area. The entire project took fourteen months to construct.
