Cubitt Street

Cubitt Street

This inner city development of forty-seven flats close to King’s Cross, was built in full consultation with local residents and has now been sold to a local housing association.

It occupies a site that was the original builders yard of Master Builder Thomas Cubitt (1780-1855), who was responsible for planning and developing large areas of London such as Belgravia, Eaton Square and many of the streets adjacent to the Cubitt Street site. Cubitt’s designs were strongly urban in character and our development, in the street named after him, reflects a modern interpretation of his architectural style.
