The Present…
2012 will see the end of construction on a number of our developments – Chelsea Walk in West Chelsea, Ermin Apartments in Islington and St David’s Apartments in Barnsbury. Construction at our Battersea development – Sesame Apartments – will begin in the early part of the year.
Elsewhere in London, as well as the recently completed Wheston Lodge in Woodside Park, sales continue apace at Chaplin Apartments, which is located in arguably the capital’s most exciting emerging area. This mixed use development, which was a joint venture with the Hackney Empire theatre, is in a fantastic location, in the centre of civic Hackney, and will also provide a new state of the art community hub for the Empire – one of the capital’s pre-eminent cultural institutions.
Meanwhile in Belgium, sales at Thornsett’s largest Belgian project to date, Leopold Village in Brussels, have continued steadily. This mixed use development comprises 108 luxury apartments, including 6 penthouses with some of the most breathtaking views over Brussels’ European District. The development also contains the “Aloft Brussels Schuman”, a 147 bedroom 4 star hotel, and some of Brussels best bars, restaurants and cafés. Elsewhere in Brussels, we have completed a luxuriously appointed boutique residential development opposite the impressive 19th century Park de Woluwe, and are soon to begin the construction of Elysées Gardens, an exciting new residential development in the trendy Ixelles district.
